Spend the last years watching those Youtube Sailing Channels of happy people enjoying life? Now its your time but you don’t feel enough confident to slip your mooring lines. You are not that quick doing a bowline or a clove hitch. How and when reef sails. How to negotiate a harbour entrance or just making a pilotage plan to enter a busy harbour?!

With Living aboard Skipper combo you will get your ICC, VHF and Powerboat certifications and besides that deal with diesel bug problems, service your outboard or your tender. You will increase your comfort zone and feel ready to set sails and sail round the world.

Certificate Limitations

  • Command of a sailing vessel up to a maximum length of 78 ft /24 meters / powerboat 15m
  • In coastal waters up to 20 miles offshore.
  • In daylight hours and in fair conditions with moderate wind and sea conditions
  • This certificate is the level of competence that one needs when chartering a boat in the Mediterranean or West Indies.

In the evening we will moor or anchor near shore, with plenty of free time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Pre-course experience requirements:

The suggested (not required) pre-course experience is 5 days at sea, 50 miles. The International Crew / Competent Crew course>> is an ideal prerequisite. It is beneficial to have a basic knowledge of navigation. Participants must be at least 16 years of age.
